❀ Episode 02 ❀ [Dictated / Action]

Goooood afternoon, Paradisa~!!!

[Rise's bubbly, cheerful voice projects through the journals, almost as if she's announcing through a sound system. But with much more manageable volume, which many residents will be thankful for. If one listens closely, they can hear what sounds like the ocean in the background.]

I've only been here for a few days, so let me introduce myself. I'm Rise Kujikawa, sixteen years old. I'm an idol back home, if you guys know what that is. Basically, I'm in showbiz. I perform as a singer and actress, and I might even break into film one day! But that's just one side of me. I've worked at my family's tofu shop too, and when I'm not working, I'm just an ordinary high school girl.

Now that you all know a little bit about me, I hope to hear from you too! I've met some really great people here already, but I hope to make lots of new friends while I'm here!

Aaaand, while I was looking around, I found this super neat place called the Four Seasons Room.

[She suddenly giggles.]

There's a beach in the castle in January!

[There's a brief pause.]

I guess that's normal for people who have been here for a while, huh? But I skipped from spring all the way up to New Year's when I came here, so I missed a whole summer! And since I wanted to meet more of you, I thought "what could be better than a day at the beach?"

[As she continues, her dramatic pout is actually audible.]

It'd be no fun if I had to spend all this time by myself, but if you're busy, you can still say hi through the journals! I'll be watching and listening!

{OOC: Anything you can think of for a beach gathering should be fair game here. Beach toys, volleyball, karaoke... or just relax and talk. Rise's not a demanding hostess, I promise! ♥}

[Huh, he's the second to ask her to just call him by his name. Come to think of it, she knows some other countries don't use honorifics either. Maybe some of the places these people are from are like that, too.]

O-okay... Wheatley...

[Gah, it feels awkward when she says it like that! She quickly rushes on to the next subject.]

Um... oh, right! I've only been here about six days.

Does... does the castle really do all those things?!

[Some of it sounds like it could be fun, but from what she's heard, the castle doesn't always play nice...]

People like to say it's magical, but magic doesn't actually exist.

The story with the ruby slippers and Emerald City?

[She giggles.]

Hasn't everybody? I've even been considered for Dorothy-chan a few times.

What about it? Do things like that happen around here too?!

Ahaha! Yep! That's the one! Little dog and all.

...Sort of!

I have a theory that somewhere in this castle... there's somebody running the show. Watching all of us. Making stuff happen so it seems like magic, though it really isn't.

[Wow, he sounds exactly like Naoto-kun now, trying to solve the case of Paradisa. But even Naoto-kun wouldn't have believed the truth about the TV world before she exhausted all other options and saw it for herself...]

Does it really make a difference, though? Whatever's doing it, it still happens.

[If the others were here, she might want to investigate with them. But right now, it doesn't look like there's much she can do even if she did.]

Besides, this beach room is pretty nice! Feels just like the real thing!

So, you know, the castle magic or whatever it is isn't all bad.

That-- that's true. I guess not!

Ehe. Care for any company?
I've only been to a beach once before, and I don't remember it all that well.

I remember bits and pieces. Sand. Sun. Water. Those bits.

Of course, I'd love some company!

[She had invited pretty much anyone in the castle, after all! Anyone but that Pixy guy, at least. He'd find some way to spoil all her fun.]

I asked those weird castle servant guys to set this place up, so there's towels and soft drinks and umbrellas and everything. And sunscreen, of course. Too much sunlight is bad for your skin, after all.

[She ponders that quietly for a second.]

Actually, would that still be true here? The beach is obviously castle magic. Or whatever.

[She adds that last bit after realizing Wheatly is probably still listening, though she's still pretty convinced that "castle magic" is the most accurate term.]

I guess that doesn't matter, either. Better safe than sorry!

Probably a good idea.
I'm... uh... a bit pale.

[If snow was a complexion...]

Sure, I'll keep you company. All done with all my sciency research for the day. anyway...

[Actually he's been painfully unproductive in the past few days, but hey... even 'scientists' can slack.]

[She wonders for a minute if it's a good idea to be meeting strangers like this, but she's been seeing people socializing with other residents a lot. Kind of like school without classes.

Suddenly, she realizes something.]

Oh! You guys all know where the Four Seasons room is, right? It's on the third floor.

[She gives a bit of a sheepish grin to no one in particular, but the feeling is conveyed in her tone.]

I kinda assumed everyone here would know already...
