[The morning after Frodo's arrival, Clem comes back to the castle, just as she said she would. She's excited to hang out with her new friend (because you become friends after helping someone get a bath and food), and knocks on the door before sticking her head in.

She hopes he's not still asleep.]

[ It's still uncanny, to be given everything one desires except for freedom. ]

Do you like the castle, Clementine?

[She pops more candy into her mouth, nodding.]

It's better than how things are at home. I'm not afraid that walkers will show up, or that someone will try to hurt me. I feel safe.

But I miss Lee. I really want him to come here, too. He didn't look too good. There's a clinic here, and people who would help him.

[ Frodo watches her for a moment, then draws his arms around her so he can put his chin on her head. ]

You can save him when you come back.

It's not fair that he's not here, too.

[ he likes not having to avoid people's crotch when he's hugging them.

Frodo rubs her back gently. There's little to say. Most things aren't fair. ]

[She pulls back. There aren't any tears, but her cheeks are flushed. A moment more and there would have been waterworks, but she's been trying her best to be strong.]

[ He loosens his hug but doesn't let go yet, shaking his head. ]

It isn't wrong to be sad over a friend.

I know. [But she feels bad for doing so in front of Frodo. He just got here.]

[ Frodo places a kiss on the crown of her head and smiles at her. It's okay, Clem :'( ]

[She smiles back. It's a little sad, but his smile is too nice to not try and return it.]

[ Frodo grins and gives her back all the green and yellow ones. ]

I've never understood why, but most hobbits are especially fond of these colours.

Oh. We are rather fond of those.

I think everyone is, unless they're allergic to grass.

They're nice colors. Do you like blue, too? [For the sky! But Skittles fail and don't have blue.]

I prefer browns myself, except for vests. I am fond of all the vivid colors.

Is blue your favourite?

One of my favorites. I like wearing yellow, though.

[She'd like to drag Frodo around and show him things, be she's mindful of how tired he is.]

Do you want to go back to the room, now? If you're tired, you can take a nap.

[ Frodo hops off his chair and offers her a helping hand to go down. ]

We can play in the snow with Legolas too when I feel better.

I'd like that. [She takes his hand and hops down, then keeps a hold on it to leave the kitchen and head back upstairs. A careful pace, of course.]
