 [Danny groans as he wakes up in his own bed.  In the worst pain he's been in since ever.  Being chewed on and knocked around by a giant dragon thing will do that.

He hated fighting dragons.

He gives brief thought to just trying to take care of himself, but the pain coming from his ribs quickly makes him change his mind.  Not to mention the spreading bloodstains he could see.

This sucked so much, but Danny really didn't see much of a choice.  After a couple attempts he manages to snag his journal and open it.]

Um, hello?  Could I get a little help please?  I'd ask for bandaids too, but somehow I don't think that's going to cut it this time.

I assume this has to do with that weird mirror that was in the lobby?

Doesn't look like it was a fun trip.

[He finishes up with the makeshift wrappings.]

Okay, I'm going to lift you up now. You ready?

[Danny scowls, a little grumpy at the prospect of being carried.]

Yeah, took us to some whacked out world where everyone was insane.

I'll be fine. Lets just get it over with.

[Well he's not letting an injured human walk, so enjoy the cold, strong arms of a robot. He lifts Danny up pretty effortlessly and starts to carry him out.]

Well, things could have ended much worse in there. At least you made it out in one piece.

[Luckily Danny was so scrawny and small for his age. Though even considering that, he was a little lighter than he should have been.]

Yeah, barely.

[He's good unless Danny suddenly starts weighing more than a bus. Now comes the fun part, seven flights of stairs. Could be a bumpy ride Danny.]

You're still alive and your limbs are all intact, I'd call that a win.

So, what's your name kid?

[Because it's pretty obvious Danny doesn't like the current topic.]

Danny Fenton. I've been around here a while.

[He mostly disliked it because he had no good answer. The castle had removed his ability to lie. So he couldn't say of course he was alive. And he couldn't say he was dead.]

I'm Break. I arrived earlier this month.

I've heard the castle "likes" to do things like that from time to time.

Every few months, yeah. That was just a little more extreme than most of them.

So coming out battered and bruised isn't exactly common. That's good to know.

Nah, this is the first time since I arrived here.

Maybe it'll pick a better vacation stop next time?

Doubt it. There's always something about these things that stinks.

[They get to the bottom of the stairs.]

That way. [He points down the hallway.]

It isn't too hard once you remember that most of the important stuff is on the first three floors.

Important how?

Most of the community stuff. The upper floors are mostly peoples rooms.

I see. Like the kitchen? I went in there once.

Yeah. The kitchen and the lobby and the library are all there.

[Can you tell he doesn't exactly get out much?]

Well, someday I'll have to check them out.

The roof is pretty good too.
