That could be a dangerous door to open. I mean, if you get really into it, next thing you know you'll be dressing up Renaissance era clothes and treating Paradisa like your own personal fair.

[A small cough.]

That first thing may or may not have happened already.

...Okay, now I am worried.

Hey, I don't care what history says, Lucrezia Borgia is a teenage girl and just so happens to like playing dress up.

[dorkwonder]

I bet she had to twist your arm to get you to go along with it, huh?

Uh huh. Totally.

I bet you wouldn't put up too much of a fight, hmm?

[It has to fulfill some sort of nerdy fantasy of his.]

[Don't judge. How many people, nerds or otherwise, could pass up the chance to dress up in some classic fantasy style garb in a castle, never mind a magical castle?]

And Lucrezia would probably be more than happy to help. [In an almost song-song voice:] It can happen...

Maybe. In the meantime, someone promised me burgers and pizza with the possibility of curry. [Tilts his head towards a diner up ahead.]

[She'll make sure to talk to Lucrezia about this ASAP.]

I didn't forget! And I hope you're not intending on eating all three in one go.

[She'll move to take Ace's leash from Tim so she can tie him up outside.]

[Resistance is futile, isn't it?]

I want to be able to walk back on my feet, not have to drape over Ace and have him carry me back.

[Heads into the diner and holds the door open for her.]

Thanks. [She nods as she steps past him.

This feels so absurdly normal. Which makes it weird.]

The age old question: booth or table?

[He keeps expecting super-assassin-ninjas to appear out of nowhere and disrupt their...whatever this is.

And yet, there are no ninjas to be seen. Which means the ninjas are either really doing it right, or the two of them are actually going to spend an evening together without anything crazy happening.]

[She leads the way to a booth. Most are unoccupied, so it's private. Not that they need privacy or anything. Steph grabs one of the menus to look over.]

Curry, curry, curry... not seeing it, unfortunately.

[dorkwonder]

[Sits down across from her. Habit makes him check out the nearest exit to them, how many potential hostages there are, and what items he can use as barrier in case of an attack. Then he returns his attention to her.]

I'll make due. [Pauses and looks up from the menu at her.]

Uh, is the meat they use here from the animals in the area or is it imported?

[Knows exactly what he's doing, but makes no comment on it as she chooses what she wants.]

The area. I don't know where they'd import it from.

[Flips the pages away from anything with meat.]

I'm going to pass on the hamburger, it's a little too Soylent Green for me. [Thinks about the pizza and then how they'd get the dairy for the cheese and yeah...he studies the various vegan selections.]

[She raises an eyebrow.]

It's fine. There's nothing wrong with the meat, Tim.

Have you ever seen what the animals out here are like on the inside?

The buffalo and every other animal around here. Kara looked into the buffalo and she saw an entire human skeleton inside of the buffalo. All of the muscles were inside out, and the two were somehow fused together.

[Turns a little green in the cheeks as he eyes the hamburger advertisement on the menu.]
