I should like to announce my sister Sunny has arrived. [For those that know her, it's a big deal.] She's two and usually has a ribbon in her hair. She's very independent, but she's still learning to speak.

While I'm very good at taking care of her, I'm going to need some things. [Things she can actually afford. She hopes her parents are proud of her.] Dresses and the like. Sunny can keep herself occupied. She's a very good cook actually, and very intelligent.

She does have sharp teeth though. So I would beware.

Sunny belongs to herself. [They've all stopped being children long ago, but she hopes to give Sunny more of a childhood here.]

I got that impression. She's a strong willed little ankle biter, I'll give her that.

Then I hope someone can help you. I'm better at protecting kids than....actually providing for them. [Chocolate is not part of the food pyramid]

I knew she seemed familiar, but it was hard to tell, simply from conversing over the journal. [he sounds beside himself, a phrase which here means breathlessly excited and flustered, not cloned by dubious scientific means]

How much have you been able to explain to her?

As much as I could. I don't think she really understands, but neither did I. Not until my first loss and the world change.

She needs help maneuvering the kitchen, but she knows what tastes good, yes.

I was inventing since I was her age. Intelligence doesn't have to be hindered just because of age.

Actually this place will be good for her. At least now she'll have a bed and be safe.

[Sunny is currently quite happy sitting nearby gnawing on a piece of wood she found.

It's been a while since she's had anything good and hard to chew on. She may not understand everything that's going on right now but she can at least enjoy the fact that she's with Violet, she has something to sink her teeth into and there isn't any danger of a certain actor finding them]

[Sunny smiles up at her sister. The first genuinely happy smile in quote a while, actually. It's quite nice to actually be able to sit and chew on something for once]
