I should like to announce my sister Sunny has arrived. [For those that know her, it's a big deal.] She's two and usually has a ribbon in her hair. She's very independent, but she's still learning to speak.

While I'm very good at taking care of her, I'm going to need some things. [Things she can actually afford. She hopes her parents are proud of her.] Dresses and the like. Sunny can keep herself occupied. She's a very good cook actually, and very intelligent.

She does have sharp teeth though. So I would beware.

That's crazy. This place is way too crazy for someone that young to be here.

Actually this place will be good for her. At least now she'll have a bed and be safe.

Oh. [His voice quiets, when he speaks again his voice is gentler than before.] She doesn't have that back home?

Neither of us do.

Would you rather be here than in your home world, now that your sister's here with you? [Has a sneaking suspicion that's likely the case.]

I still have a brother who isn't here, but I've long since preferred this place. Even with all it does.

I guess when you put it like that, this place doesn't sound so bad. Is there anything your sister needs right now or anything you could use a hand with?

Um, we're pretty good. I'm just trying to get her things to make her comfortable, clothes and toys.

The castle will supply most of those, won't it? Any time I need a basic supply or something minor, it suddenly shows up somewhere.

I don't live in the castle, and I prefer not to wish for things.

How expensive or I guess inexpensive is it to live in the town?

I think if you have some sort of income, then you're good. I own the upstairs and downstairs next door if you're ever interested.

I definitely am. As cool as this place is, it also gives me the creeps with the way it alters everything.

I-- had a really bad time with it my first few months here. What it did to me? I moved out and lived with a friend until he left. By that time I had a good amount of actual money stored up from fixing things for people in town or just building things. I bought the property and have a shop, and an apartment.

[Whistles.] That's really impressive. I'm sorry you had to go through whatever it is you went through. I'm glad your sister won't have to deal with all the craziness that you had to deal with.

I'm just glad I'm able to be here and look out for her.
