demonologist[It’s late morning at Wes’ residence. There’s the rustle of pages and sheets. A shift of weight and then the book is slammed shut, but unbeknownst to Wes, his rolling over to face Fred has knocked his journal open again...]
Something’s happened at the castle again. It’s all over the journals.
[The words settle over Fred, but she doesn’t immediately move. She’s found that spot. That rare, rumored, and more than a bit difficult to find spot. She’d been more than content, and fully prepared to stay there for the better part of the morning. In fact, she’d only just started to consider forgiving Wesley for moving. She’s remained curled up in the echo of that place, the quiet sound of pages being turned occasionally breaking the silence]
Like something, something? The sort of something I need to start finding my clothes for?
Dinosaurs running amok, escaped ghosts, upside down and topsy turvy staircases, corridors melting away, giant bubbles in the washroom, the library an absolute mess, involuntary pink hair...to name a few.
[Dinosaurs. Fred remembered the dinosaurs right after she arrived. She’d nearly gotten stepped on. She sighs into her pillow]
So definitely something then.
[Oddly, her voice remains uncommitted. And muffled]
Yes. I’m afraid so.
[Wes gives a faint sigh, then there’s the barely audible sound of a shoulder being kissed.]
We could always just stay at the house. Plead ignorance?
[There’s still a good bit of morning sleep in her voice, and what follows is dangerously close to a purr. It trails off into another sigh, and then another body shifting in sheets as she finally turns to face Wesley]
….it’s probably nothing like anything we’ve seen before. Especially since you missed the dinosaurs.
[So why didn’t she sound convinced?]
I suppose we ought to, then...
[He doesn’t sound very enthused. After all, the bed is warm, he has Fred’s company, the prospect of yet another chaotic day in Paradisa - after what’s happened earlier in the month - doesn’t really appeal. But he reluctantly starts to make a move.]
[She hadn’t expected him to actually move, somehow. Honestly, she’d just been talking to -- talk. Mostly saying the words she likely was expected to say]
Wesley....wait.
[Fred shifts closer, drawing herself up against him. What distinctly sounds like a kiss follows]
...I only just got rid of that peach dress.
[That of course implying she’d had her personal fill of the Castle’s brand of crazy lately]
Mmm, I was hoping you’d say that...
[More kissing sounds and movement on the bed until--]
[OOC: Brown font is Wes, Green is Fred, feel free to warn, troll etc]
