[Dated to... after the Pokémon plot ended, before anything else weird began.

Rin is in Galadriel's room, crouched in front of what appears to be a giant pot holding her new Maractus, which came back with her. She stares at it rocks back and forth and makes weird cooing and burbling noises to itself.]

Weeiiiird... [Ah, breathless. And then her attention switches to the journal.]

Hey ev'rybody! I'm back! I don't remember anything that happened last week, mostly. [An exaggeration but.] But it was kinda fun, huh? I like these weird animals! They're a little scary too, though.

[Squeeeeeeeeomgwtfbbq it's Zelman! Yay!]

Hi Zelman! Did I go someplace?

Uh, well... You turned big, like an adult. But now you're a kid again.

... Is that what happened? That's weird...

[beforepride]

Yeah. But I guess you're normal again now.

[And Galadriel suddenly finds herself looking at baby Rin again... This just keeps getting stranger and stranger.]

Ah, hello again, little one.

[prevenge]

[Babies, babies, yeahhhhhhh. Rin looks up at Galadriel curiously.]

Hi, Miss Galadriel!

I am glad to hear you enjoyed what of your adventures you do recall.

[prevenge]

I had adventures? [She tilts her head. How did she, a little girl, have adventures, Galadriel.]

You found this creature yourself, though you may not recall it. [Little girls can have all sorts of adventures! Just small ones.]

[also bumming around, wandering into Galadriel's room... and frowns when he sees the weird moving plant thing]

...What is that?

It's a plant thing! [Duhhhh.]

[more frowning.]

It's from that other place, isn't it?

I dunno... what other place?

[he frowns at her now]

The place we just were. With the monsters.

You mean the pokémon?

... I dunno! What's a Pokémon? [She sounds out the word, dragging out each syllable.]

It's a little monster... or sometimes a big one. Uh... they kind of vary in size a lot! They showed up last week, which I guess you don't remember...

This thing is like a plant! Only it's alive too. Are Pokémon like that?

Some of them are, yeah!

[SUDDENLY STANDING BEHIND HER and peering at that Maractus.] What a curious creature... I could not see the creatures from this past week properly, so it is nice to be able to see this one.

Oh! [She looks to Pharos with an expression of surprise too. She'll never get used to that, she'll never get used to anything. Her expression settles after a moment though, into one that's meshed awkward and shy, if not unfriendly.] It's kinda scary because... it's a plant! And they don't, uh, jump around. Usually.

How come you couldn't see?

[Pharos smiles at her in what he hopes is a reassuring way, although he has yet to actually master facial expressions. Still, can't blame him for trying, and try he does.

Pharos steps around her to plop himself down on the ground, and he reaches out a hand to touch the Maractus.]

But it is nice, is it not? If this plant can move, then perhaps it can communicate with you, too.

I could see, but only to a certain extent. ...You could say that my vision was impaired if you wished to.

[She gets over it quickly enough anyway, turning so she can sit on her heels, feet tucked under neatly, and peer curiously at him. She doesn't seem so much afraid as uncertain, more of how she ought to treat him (and what he'd like) than anything else.]

It likes bread I guess. I got to feed it some earlier, and even though it's spiky it's like it's tame.

What can you see now that's different then before?

Perhaps it is fond of you, then. Spikes do not necessarily mean that something is dangerous, although I suppose it could certainly be hazardous if one is not careful.

[A giggle as he touches one of the spikes, and then pulls his hand away.]

Many things, although I do not think you would be able to understand what I can and can't see.
