[It's a beautiful morning, shaping up to be a hot and humid day, as so many summer days at the Blind Buffalo Resort are. The piles and piles of people arriving in their cars to check in at the modest front office make it a noisy morning too, full of chatter and greetings from those who have long been apart. There isn't enough room in the office for everyone, so there's spillover of the crowd to outside, and a noise crowd jammed inside the room.

[Of all the days that this had to happen, definitely not how he imagined spending his birthday in the least by starting off with this family reunion, not that it wasn't nice to see family again but still it was way too crowded to the point he wasn't even sure who most of these people even were.

Sasuke is just heading inside with his things trying to make his way to the end of the huge line up without crashing into anyone]

[Just the person she was looking for! Hinata's smile grows a little more and she bounces a little on the balls of her feet when she sees Sasuke enter. After a silent and quick debate, she leaves her luggage by the chair she's been sitting in, taking only her purse as she squeezes her way through people to him. They're all family? Well, she hopes.]

I'm glad you were able to make it. Do you...do you need any help with your things?

[vengefully]

Hinata! [Sasuke smiles almost right away as he sees Hinata head over from where he spotted her sitting down] It's good to see you.

I should be okay, I don't have that much luggage— are you sure it's okay to leave your stuff behind like that though? [The rest of the people here may be family but you never know...]

[hyuuga]

[She glances back over at her things, and shrugs a little. Whoever wants women's clothing is...going to be a little disappointed. Plus, she would be a little more worried over whoever would want to take her things.]

It should be fine.. I don't really have anything they'd like, anyway. How was your trip here? It was OK?

[vengefully]

You never know with people around here. [he just shrugs] My trip? Yeah, it was just fine.

[hyuuga]

I don't think anything will happen. [Stubborn? Just a little, especially when it comes to family. Besides, they would have more to worry about if someone in their family was actually interested in her clothes.]

That's good... I'm glad, it was OK. [And then, she's suddenly unsure. She knows what day it is, but just...doesn't quite know how to go about bringing it or his gift up.]

[vengefully]

[he just nods] So how was your trip here?

[hyuuga]

It was fine...uneventful. [Which is the best thing for her. Because normally her luck is horrible and she would have gotten a flat tire or something.]

But...um. [She bites her lip and focuses on digging through her purse.] I-I know it might not be how you wanted to spend it, but...happy birthday.

[vengefully]

That's good.

[he just stares for a moment as he sees her getting something from her purse] Maybe not but it's not like I had much else in terms of plans. [he shrugs at first but he does smile hearing the birthday wishes] Thank you though.

Yo, Sasuke!!

[Hear that? Yeah, that's Natsu calling out even though he's way over across the room, though his loud voice is probably very recognizable even if he can't currently be seen. Except maybe for flashes of pink hair as he makes his way through the crowd.

Squeezing out from between two people, he grins brightly when he finally ends up in front of the other] You made it!

[vengefully]

Hey Natsu! [Hearing his name being called through the crowd, he was immediately able to tell who it was and seeing Natsu make his way over, Sasuke just waves as his brother approaches] Of course I did. It's good to see you made it here too.

[eatsfire]

Well, I wasn't sure if you had other plans, y'know. [Since today isn't any ordinary day!] Yeah! Good way to introduce Lucy to most of the family.

[He laughs and rubs the back of his head] I swear there wasn't this many people last time we all got together though.

[vengefully]

No other plans really— [He's not really one to broadcast the fact it is his birthday after all. There's a bit of a pause for a moment before he looks at Natsu trying to place the name] Lucy? Ah, your fiance, right?

Yeah no kidding. It seems like the family doubled or something if everyone else here right now is here for the same reunion.

[eatsfire]

That's ain't a bad thing. I'd say we should have a huge party, but that isn't really something you'd want. [That was more his thing. He nods] Yeah! I brought her along.

[He considers this, and then laughs again] Would be funny if we found out later that most of us aren't even from the same family, but thought we were.

[vengefully]

If I was having one I'd prefer something smaller. [He just shrugs though] Well bringing her here is definitely a good way to meet the family...even though there are a lot of us here.

[okay, so that gets him to laugh a little] Yeah, that would be pretty funny.

[eatsfire]

Thought so. Happy birthday though! Feelin' old yet? [He grins cheekily, before holding out a hand for a shake (though he does still want to go for the hug instead)] And yeah, just gotta hope she doesn't get too lost and confused.

Let's hope I didn't jinx it. [But really he kind of wants that to happen in the back of his mind, oops]

I'm starting too, since you keep mentioning it.

Yeah, hopefully not on both accounts. [Referring to his last two statement at least]

[Hank's starting to feel like he's been in said line forever now, but hey, a familiar face to keep him further occupied]

Oh hey, Uncle Hank! [Sasuke waves with his free hand, and heads over to talk with him] It's good to see you.

[Yeah pretty much, since it's not like his family is dead was ever killed at all, nope.

Sasuke just shrugs at that] More or less, it's good to see everyone again despite how crowded it is right now.
