[It's a beautiful morning, shaping up to be a hot and humid day, as so many summer days at the Blind Buffalo Resort are. The piles and piles of people arriving in their cars to check in at the modest front office make it a noisy morning too, full of chatter and greetings from those who have long been apart. There isn't enough room in the office for everyone, so there's spillover of the crowd to outside, and a noise crowd jammed inside the room.

LAKESHORE

[Ten in the morning and the sun is already high; the blue expanse of water probably looks pretty inviting right now! There's even a sandy strip of beach to walk along. At various points along the shore docks extend into the water.

There's paddleboats, canoes, and rowboats available, and except where the resort owns the shore, the rest of the lake is mostly unkempt and free to explore. Maybe you want to just dive right in?]

[It's way too hot to lounge around inside. Rin squirmed into her bathing suit in the cabin in privacy in record time... somehow... which was a decent feat considering the building isn't that large, and she's already trotting down to the shore. Not even wearing flip flops. Just get her in that water.]

[ Rin isn't the only one who wanted to get into the water as soon as possible. The weather was fantastic for going swimming or getting a good tan. So Lucy herself isn't far behind Rin on heading towards the shore. Yay watah. ]

[Rue is crouched by the water, watching as it laps at her toes. Geez it would be nice if she knew how to swim right now.]

[ Standing a few feet back, having just came down to enjoy the lake himself. He is kind of wondering what the kid is doing just sitting there though. ]

The whole swimming thing works loads better if you actually get in the water.

Be careful around the lake Rue sweetheart. It can get quite deep.

[Oh hey it's one of Katniss' sisters. Steve heads over and smiles in her direction.]

[The sun is high in the sky and shimmering across the water in front of Carol. She doesn't smile too often but this is definitely cause for that smile across her face. She turns around to face the groups of people behind her. It's not that she doesn't like big crowds it's just that she doesn't really know many people around her except for her husband, Daryl.

She takes a few steps closer to the lake and bends down to pick up a small rounded pebble. She flicks her wrist and tosses it into the water, watching it skip quite a distance before sinking. She;s determined to enjoy herself today.]

[well Percy doesn't know that many people either except for his cousin. He feels a little awkward in Cabin Touchdown so he's hanging by the lakeside instead]

That was a good throw.

Careful. My nephew catches you skipping rocks and you might find yourself in a contest. [He's standing in the water nearby, just enjoying the feel of the cool water on his feet.]

[The office was far too busy, filled with people he didn't like and yet didn't want to pick a fight with so early in the week. So he's wandered off down by the lake, looking as utterly out of place as a man can, looking more like he's attending a funeral than a family reunion. But then, he's not there to have fun, just make people's lives as awkward as possible. At least it's still relatively calm down by the water.]

[Human!Flutters is more than happy to watch the beautiful water. She has her hands pressed to her heart, sighing happily.]

[Conan takes one look at the inviting lakeshore and turns his back on it with a dismissive attitude. Sandcastles and splashing in the water were for boring children. He was going to go find a mystery.]

[Danny was going for the dive right in option. Watch out for the teenager making a running jump into the water.]

[After dropping off his stuff in the cabin, Apollo takes to the beach for a quick swim. After a quick dip he crawls out of the water and flops down onto his towel. Best vacation ever.]

[ After getting settled Emma decides to check out that lake Henry was talking about, she has to admit it is a beautiful lake. She stands at the shore, just watching and thinking. ]

[You know what's nice? Reading in the sun. Catelyn is just relaxing in a lounge chair (smelling strongly of sunscreen because...Tully coloring. She'd fry otherwise). Still, you might want to poke her before she falls asleep.]

[Someone has a notepad and is sketching and writing various things. It's nice out, but she likes keeping notes.]

[Wheatley would wait for it to be night before he thought about bringing his love out onto the shore. There were less people that way, and therefore, less distractions. He'd walk her off to the shore, covering her eyes, leading her from behind. He hadn't exactly told her where he was taking her...]

[And Sheena is taking one of those canoes out for a little trip to the other side. She had planned to do some exploring, and by god, she was going to do some exploring.

The idea that it may have been a bad idea to go alone hasn't occurred to her. Or, if it had, it disappeared the moment she saw some of the swimsuits people were wearing...

[With her shoes in her hand, Hinata is strolling along that nice sandy strip of beach. She didn't even bother changing into a bathing suit, instead she just rolled up her pant legs and unzipped her light jacket. Because what is being normal.

Every now and then, she stops to pick up seashells. Broken ones get tossed back, and she...isn't entirely paying attention to where she's tossing them as she doesn't expect anyone to be that close.]

[South had found a small secluded little cove, albeit it full of reeds and bugs and, you know maybe this wasn't the best idea ... but there was family and people crawling everywhere else. This was the best she could do for seclusion.]

[Hopefully Haymitch wouldn't make her waiting too long. :| ]

[The beach is nice place to unwind and remember this trip is supposed to be fun despite all the tension clearly going around. Steve doesn't waste any time setting up a little area for himself, shedding his shirt, and jumping into the water.
