COMBINED CAMP: DAY THREE

[The morning ends the heavy storm, bright sunshine beaming down on the makeshift camp. Some of you may be injured from last nights incidents, but at least this is some downtime for you to recuperate. Tembo and Harding are arguing heatedly some distance from the camp, but otherwise the jungle is silent.

The camp is being visited, however. A pack of compsognathus have made their way into camp. They're little guys only ten inches high, easily the smallest residents on the island. They're currently scurrying around the camp, looking for any food to scavenge, seemingly not concerned with the people milling around]

[Cass is looking kind of beat up, bare feet and ripped shirt and scratches on her legs, a little annoyed by how badly all of this is going again, but otherwise fine.

And not all that concerned Ezio is murdering dinosaurs, considering her usual everything has a right to live stance.]

They... swarm, like bees. Eat prey alive. If you see more? Shoot them, too.

[He shoves his gun back into his pants and then opens his arms up to her. He doesn't look better, honestly, but...]

[He holds her for a moment, one hand on the back of her head and the other firmly around her shoulders.]

[She leans into him a little more heavily in response to the kiss, closes her eyes and just lets herself rest against him while he'll let her. She laughs quietly when he talks about her legs, though.]

[She lifts her head from his chest to look up at him, waiting for him to elaborate. She can tell the general meaning behind the words, but it's nice to know actual translations too.]

[He chuckles.]

You see, that is the beauty of Italian. I can make up new names for you all the time.

Such as... amore, which means "love?" Tesoro, which means treasure. Or you could make up a meaningless word, something new entirely just for me.

[It's interesting that he would suggest love, but it isn't like she doesn't love him and treasure his friendship. It's easy to love people when you see every part of them and Ezio is no different. She smiles and hugs him again, gives a little nod.]
