Forty Third Sip
[So, in an effort to make her feel...less angry about the events of the last few days, Maladict has gone into town, deciding to throw herself more into her best person duty. After all, if Brock was stupid happy stupid enough to want to get married, he should at least have a decent sendoff. And the art was in the preparation for this sort of thing, she was sure. She flicks through her journal as she walks]
You know, I never thought it would be this easy to find Seamstresses in this world. Guess I was wrong. Seems it's forever the most common profession if people want it to be or not. Nice to know some things are the same here as they are back home.
[Brock]
Candy Muff or Diamond Slick.
Pick one.
[Nikola]
[Ugh, this is not easy to say, especially after her 'you have to make right what you did' rant. Humble pie does not taste good at all]
So, I won't be guarding you any more. I'll probably visit or...something. But no more guarding.

Not that I'd considered working here. [ Yet ]
/don't mind James trying to save her...
She is not speaking of, your work Christina. She is, talking about, nubile ladies of the night. [Don't make him spell it out for you.]

I do fashion things. Not whatever you were looking for.

Why seamstresses? Why that word?
no subject
I don't know, it's just the word they use. Maybe it gives them a bit of class.

And what about people who are... whatever my version of seamstresses is for you?

And there are things, just, Maladict comes from a world where, things are, vastly different. There is a certain, cultural learning curve to, over come with her you could say. [HAVE A WARNING TOO.]
no subject
What else have I dropped myself in with? [ Because if you've listened here she expects you (or hopes) to know other things ]

In regards to Maladict? Nothing more than she is as blind to certain Earth things as we are to her worlds customs. [And is a troll but how do you say that?] She is, also, a particular fan of coffee if you would, like to, get to know her on her terms. [There's a certain dislike in his voice there that he doesn't approve really.]
no subject
That's what I'm worried about. [ Things were easier with Galadriel and she wasn't from Earth either! She likes that tip though ] That's not a bad idea.

Are you trying to put me off after suggesting that I get to know her? [ Tsh James ]

And hardly so, Christina. Just warning you is all. I would rather you both walk away from that meeting alive. [He likes his ladies thank you.]
