paradisa | (no subject)

[What ho Paradisa. If you are the lobby now, you might find a somewhat unusual sight: three kids - well, two kids and one young teenager, really, the teenager conspicuously naked and sprawled out on one of the lobby couches. The teenager has long blue hair and is filthy. The kids are relatively clean, one of them - the older boy - graced with a crown of pale blond hair, the other a smaller little girl wearing a traditional robe and black pigtails. There's a journal nearby of course, and it picks up a voice which might sound a bit familiar:]

Hey... person! Hey! How come you're naked?

[Then the younger boy:] Because he's got no clothes, stupid.

I'm not stupid! [That seems to rile the little girl up; she gives the boy next to her a push.

It looks like this minor ruckus is enough to wake the third boy anyhow.] Whuh...?

[What do, Paradisa?]

[Butting in] How did you just pop out of noplace like that?

[and... no questions from him. He looks confused over the name that the kid calls him... but then some distant bell rings. Somewhere in the back of his mind, that name sounds somewhat familiar. He'd heard it here before, maybe...

And that adds several more notches toward not trusting this kid.

Quietly, his expression darkens a little, and he just watches]

[Legato's silence doesn't surprise him terribly - Pharos just continues to smile widely at the three, evidently somewhat pleased with this whole situation. It's rather nice to not need to look up at people, you know.]

It is simply a skill that I happen to have. Surely you have your own skills, do you not?

[He hops down from the arm of the couch then, and goes to stand in front of Zelman. Clearly checking height is very important!! All the while, he still smiles.]

I know your name because you are someone that is very important to me.

Though I do know your name as well, Rin.

Um, okay... who are you?

[he frowns. he's never met this guy in his life.

...Pharos is a little taller.]

[yep, still preoccupied with quietly watching this kid, trying to place why he feels so strange]

[Also staring at Pharos.

Yep.]

...I suppose it would be better of me to say that you will be someone important to me. [....amg he feels so big right now. 8> ]

Hello, Pharos. [well, that... no that still doesn't make sense.]

You're confusing.

Hello, Zelman. [Giggles. You make it sound like sense is a thing he makes regularly.] I have been told that on quite a few occasions. I find it make things more interesting if I am not terribly clear with people.

Of course, if that bothers you I could attempt to be more clear if you would like me to.

I am afraid it is not the sort of thing that I can explain... I simply move more freely than most beings are able to.

Not everyone is, no. In fact, I am not entirely certain that I myself could even be described as "magic".

I am afraid that I would like to keep that to myself, if you do not mind. There is no need to worry, however; I am acquainted with all three of you, so I have nothing but good intentions in mind towards you.

I apologize if what I have said thus far does not make a great deal of sense. This must be quite the strange situation for you all!

You are all rather quiet at this size though... do you not have any other questions? Or anything that you might wish to do?

[quiet indeed! silently watching and considering until now, he finally speaks up]

Why do you think you know us?

Yeah. That's a good question.

Because the Castle often likes to ignore basic rules; such as the ones that "time" must follow by, or any other entity that it likes to take hold of for the time being.

I do not know any of you as you are now, but I believe I know you all later on in your lives. [He glances at Zelman.] For some of you, it is much later in your lives. To think that I would be able to speak with you all at such small sizes...

I must admit, this is actually quite the treat for me. Typically speaking I usually have to look up at people, if I do not wish to exert any energy.
