Case #01 [Accidental dictation]

You, over there. Please, tell me at once! I...I have a briefing to attend in but ten minutes! What could you possibly --No! I have no time for wanton merrymaking! I must get to the courthouse immediately!

 

Since when did eveyone become so miserly with mere directions? I simply want to know how to -- would you please cease that at once!

[He barks a laugh(ish thing) and, assuming there's probably quite a lot more Edgeworth is going to be confused about here, writes:

"In the daylight I can show you around the castle and grounds if you want."]

Flaps his hand a bit--all this writing hnng]

[Opens his little briefcase and begins to rummage through it.]

[Leans over, curiously peering to see what's going on.

Wondering why he didn't he get to keep his stuff when he came here.]

[...Not that it's much, but it was in his hand when he was transported. Hopefully this'll work..]


[Busying himself behind the open briefcase, one can hear a faint, tck, tck, tcktck, tck, tck. Soon after, Edgeworth produces this, and hands it to Phoenix.]

[In turn, Phoenix stares at it blankly before hunting-and-pecking, "This thing looks expensive." And then because he's feeling emasculated by Edgeworth's money and gadgets and wants to show off or something idk he signs 'thank you'--one of the only bits of sign language he happens to know.]

And types (not without many typos that the very expensive-looking breakable thing is fixing for him), "No, I don't want to hurt it!"]

Personally, what I am slightly alarmed with is your lack of tenacity. In any case, would you rather you to be hurt, or it?

Well, at least the typing is getting a little easier, even if understanding Edgeworth never will isn't.]

...Apparently you may seem to not have noticed, but if you press....this here, it will dictate whatever you type.


[And with tapping a button on the screen, it reads back in a computerized female voice, "What exactly do you mean by that?"]

well, 'thong' is in my iPhone's dictionary so....

Type type type.... and then the robot voice says, "Too bad it's a girl thong."








Followed shortly by "Thing."]

["Ha ha ha," says the lady robot voice.]

Only you would somehow discover a word I've never typed before. One like that. Anyway, I see it's serving you well already.

[For the next minute or so, the voice will be spouting out all manner of curse words and crude terms for various parts of the body while Phoenix throws on his most innocent of expressions.]

[Snatches the tablet away and begins to tap away at it. A few seconds later the voice speaks...





"Shut. The. Fuck. Up."



...and he offers the tablet back to Phoenix, with an expression befitting the statement.]

[He's trying hard not to laugh as he pecks once again on the screen.

"Aw come on, lighten up!"]

...Being able to be provoking without a voice...you certainly are talented.

And he takes a bow.]
