[Katniss is just passing by when something makes her stop. That horrible yowling, reminiscent of a creature equally horrible (contrary to popular belief coughrecentthingsoverthejournal, she is not a fan of cats), echoing all over the walls. When she comes closer instead of moving on, sets foot in the room, she's greeted by the sight of the girl with the cat in her arms.

A sight that actually.... makes her smile. Small, but it's there.]

They can be hard to catch.

[ The hissing of a cat draws her attention to the ballroom. She doesn't often hear distressed animals in the castle, so she wonders what's up and pokes her head through the doorway.

She's surprised to see Arya. ]

[ OH HAI KATE. She smiles when she sees the familiar face. ]

No. I was just catching it. [ She offers it to Kate. ] Is it yours?

[Henry's still in the exploring stage. So when he hears those noises coming from the ballroom, he does the natural thing and sticks his head in to see what's going on.

He looks from Arya to the cat and back again. He's eating a chocolate chip cookie.]

[Rose strolls into the ballroom behind Arya. She has a slightly impatient expression that suggests she's been watching silently for quite some time.]

[ She blinks at Xena's clothing, but she's spent long enough here for that to be her only reaction. ]
