[It's the end of a long week filled with family, and one more night of eating too much and tolerating people you're probably sick of. The food tonight features grilled chicken, potato salad, coleslaw and ice cream for dessert.

Of course, one last night of family isn't complete without photos of the gang and some dumb games to cap the week off. Here we go again:]

Make something up. I hear there are bears in these woods. [a bear attack story is infinitely cooler than 'my unsocialized cousin scratched me up.' Heck, make it multiple bears.

She glances around and well. It doesn't look like anybody else has shown up thus far.]

Probably not. [though she's not at all concerned about the severity of the trouble they'd get into for this - it's definitely a far cry from people getting hurt or whatever.] Plus it's not like we're going far.

Bears? [ pause for this ] Papa would get in trouble for this then, right?

But I'm so huuungry! I'm sure they'd understand—And since when did big sis ever care?

If you spin it so that it's because of some sort of security oversight. Or that the bears around here hate helicopters and they all came out to protest.

[grumbling and getting up] Yeah, yeah. Let's go.

I'm too hungry to think, so I'll just say both of those happened. Well, that and Arya's dog was the one who became friends with those bears....

[ getting up as well and following her sister. totally picking up this sort of behavior here, and on some country far awaaaay ] Yaaay!

[headin' towards the dining hall/cafeteria thing]

And then she lead them back into the woods? Or did she join up with the bears?

SHE JOINED UP WITH THE BEARS, and then Big Sis and Duran saved me. And then Duran forced them back into the woods with his intimidating presence!

[ swinging her arms as they walk ] See? There's the truth in there, too!

[she laughs]

I'm flattered. Duran is too. [his tail wags at the mention of his name]

Did you then heal her wounded heart and lead Nymeria back from the dark side? Or is that the plot for the next episode?

Well I couldn't have done it without help. The two heroes and their adorable mascot showed the bears what-for! Then, with Nymeria's heart healed, they forgave her for all the evil she had done. Then they all returned home and had dinner. It can all fit in thirty minutes, too!

I take it that dinner is the most important part here, right?

Well I can only live off burgers and fries for so long...

I thought you were living off of ice cream.

That was today! Though.. that's some days, too.

I'm surprised they let you do that. Isn't France supposed to have good food? Or at least more options than burgers, fries, and ice cream?

Well I can make tarts, but that's about it. Kind of eggs.. And what's so bad about the first two?

I've still got my figure!

[no comment on the inability to cook. Unless instant ramen counts, she can't either.

Teasingly:] Oh? For how much longer, I wonder? Will you be unrecognizable next time you get back?

[ instantly freezes and lets out a sound of ~dread~ ] D-Don't joke about that! NGAAH, you can't say thaaat!!

[she chokes down a laugh and tries to look as solemn as possible.]

What? It's the logical course of things, isn't it?

I'm gonna be scared of food because of you. Terrified, even! I'll be eating snacks from now on because of you! [ flails around, yelling gibberish. MOUUUU ]

[calmly weathering the dramatics]

Shouldn't you change that to 'eating healthier because of you?'

Now you're just asking too much from me. [ this look ]

[smirk] God forbid that should ever happen.

Now you've got be confused.. Should I eat or not? Maybe I should go running around the lake after...

Eating's a good idea, I would think.

I'll tag along for the run, if you're going to do that.

Ok, ok! That sounds like a great plan, sis! Remember to bring Duran, too. He's our anti-bear shield until we leave.

[ our meaning me. sob ]

I wouldn't dream of letting my little sister fend for herself against those evil anti-helicopter bears.
