people watching, and can't help but notice this new comer's attire--specifically because it is clothing befitting her own era. Of course that didn't necessarily mean a whole lot, but... Well frankly with all the strangeness that went on in the place some hint of familiarity was nice.]...

This place is called Paradisa... I don't know that there is a good way of explaining what has happened at all... but essentially you have been abducted from your world by whatever power controls this castle. [She nods toward the journal in his hand.] As has anyone with one of these journals... [she holds her own up so that the name on the front (Himura Tomoe) is displayed.]

None that I am aware of... I have not been here all that long myself--not even two months yet. Others have been here for years without finding a way out. It's a matter of the castle's whim.
One thing that seems apparent is that time is essentially stopped for you, wherever you came from. No one will realize you are missing, and when Paradisa releases you, apparently it will be back to the exact moment in time that it drew you from. This is what I've been told, in any case.

No. As far as I know... there is no way. A... price is paid to the castle to be here--aptly called a 'loss' by most residents. It seems ludicrous as most of us never asked to be brought here in the first place but... it is what it is. It sounds as though you are referring to a physical object--others lose memories or abilities... generally something of importance.

I don't know what the purpose of this is... Some believe the castle is sentient... and that the losses somehow sustain it.
