[the day of the party has arrived!

right around dinnertime, fairies will try to round up every single character and gesture, lead, or pull them towards the courtyard. there, the miniature castle has finally been completed! there are fairy lights and beautiful singing all around you, and it looks like there's some kind of a party going on in the castle, but...

...but it's still so tiny. how could you possibly get in there? it would be hard just to get your hand through the front door!

but the fairies will persist, and as soon as a character steps into the fairy ring...

they find themselves in the ballroom.

[Molotov is drunk enough to be distracted, and places one finger on his chin.]

[His other hand goes to her thigh, resting on it gently, as innocuously as possible.]

The mask does not remove the ring.

[Almost teasing:]

[A chuckle, and he reaches to touch her face.]

You are persistent, and I am Ezio.

[She just instinctively leans into his hand.]

I told you.

[assassino]

You certainly did.

[And he's going in for that kiss. A kiss on the lips, but a chaste one nonetheless.]

[molotov]

[Yeah, Molotov makes no move to stop or avoid this in any way. Which is probably bad. But it feels okay. Actually, everything feels pretty great right now. Fairy wine is awesome.]

[assassino]

[He's not sure how far he can (or should) push his luck, and he is quite certain he is going to get his ass kicked for this later, but he's just tipsy enough to say fuck it to the consequences.

But he certainly pushes his luck with that kiss.]

[molotov]

[She lets this go on far longer than she normally would, and by the time she pulls away, she has her hand at his cheek. She actually doesn't even pull very far away -- they're still very much within nose-touching distance (especially with that giant beak, says Cesare from the shadows).]

My husband will be mad.

[assassino]

[he is very proud of his big nose, okay :'(

It's almost maddening to have her this close, where he can smell her perfume and remain so close to her lips, but he keeps that much distance between them, at the very least.

But like hell he'll waste this moment thinking about Brock Samson. He just teases:]

Only because he knows he can't satisfy you the way I can.

[molotov]

Now you are just being ridiculous.

[assassino]

[And in classic Molotov style, she crushes his excitement with heavy reality.]

Ah, but I am sure it is true! I have heard nothing but complaints from you about your love life, while any woman I have bedded could give me a glowing recommendation.

[molotov]

When did I complain, huh?

[She traces his bottom lip with her nail.]

[assassino]

[He chuckles]

Did you not tell the castle he was too... enthusiastic for you?

[molotov]

That was an anonymous person. Not me.

[assassino]

[He knows, though. Thanks, Brock.]

[molotov]

What if I do not accept your apologies?

[assassino]

They are apologies for attempting to lift your mask, not apologies for having made a mistake.

[molotov]

[She pinches his chin and drops her voice to a whisper.]

I never said I did not like it. Just that it was too much.

[assassino]
