Two days ago, a caravan went exploring in the woods and came across a well. There was an ugly cat in it, and I should have shot the damn thing before it escaped.

And yet now we have people suffering unspeakable deformities at the hands of a demon cat.

I am a banker, not a damn exorcist. What do people intend to do about this?

[She sounds young. Poor kid :( He's not quite sure how to respond, right off the bat, though... demons (or what he sees as demons) are not exactly his area of knowledge, and from what he understands, limbs cannot get reattached... but perhaps future science could do that.

For one thing, I think it's a good time to play the safety in numbers card. It sounds like most of the people who have been attacked have been alone. We need to get some sort of control on this.

Here's what continues to baffle me.

No matter what hideous abominations come our way, no matter what seemingly innocent things turn out to be evil, no matter what unexpected surprises wait in store for us... there are still people in this God forsaken world that don't have the common sense not to trust every damned thing they encounter.
