15 - fury of the night - action

[There's a dragon in the kitchen. If you frequent the kitchen, you'll know this isn't a very uncommon sight. He's currently at the fridgerator, which he pries open with his claws. He freezes, staring at the contents.

That is a big tuna.

He reaches forward to snap it up, but it just moves farther back into the fridgerator. He snorts and shakes his head, looking disgruntled and turns away, seeming to give up, but then he pauses again, and stands very still, looking over his shoulder and wing at the fish.

Quite suddenly, the kitchen is alive with banging and metallic clanging. Toothless seems to be having quite the vicious fight with the fridge as he snaps wildly at the fish inside, trying to get at it. There's a loud BANG as the fridge hits the floor, but Toothless is undeterred, scratching and clawing and biting, pushing his feet against the ground to let him reach just a little further, and... now there's just food and water all over the place, as well as a couple shelves of the fridge on the ground, and Toothless is still trying fruitlessly to grab at the tuna that's slipping so deftly around in the fridge.

Sure is a good thing you can wish for food at your leisure, huh, residents?]

[She had been going to the kitchen to get something sweet for dear Pinkie...

... but one good look at this madness scares her so much that she squeaks and drops to the floor, covering her head with her hooves.]

[There's a savage growl from Toothless as he lifts his head from the fridge, staring down into it and glaring at the fish while panting heavily. After a few moments, he finally gives a soft growl, lifting himself out of the cold box.]

[See, this is why I'm afraid of dragons. She whimpers, daring to take a look.]

[He gives a grunt, punching at the metal box with a foreleg (and denting it a little for his efforts), looking rather frustrated and exhausted. It's now that he realizes there's another scent in the room, and he turns, looking at Fluttershy.

[.......oh, wait, did he scare you? That wasn't a thing he meant to do! He whines, lowering his head as he comes towards his pony friend.

Fluttershy, you have to understand, he...

[To be fair, everything scares her. She tries to stand up, a little shaky.]

[The tuna Toothless was trying to get suddenly slips out of the fridge and smacks Eridan in the face.

Toothless moves so quickly to pounce on it to even realize where it found its hold.]

This scene sure brings back memories of Sker'ret's introduction to the kitchen... and Dairine’s responds basically the same way.]

[Toothless pauses, looking at Darine.

[He looks slightly guilty as he gets off the fridge and sits down.

but it wouldn't give him his fish.....]

[Dairine walks over to inspect the damage. Oooh boy. It's a good thing the castle repairs these kinds of messes, isn't it?]

[UGH FINE.

The fridge doesn't look too terrible. It looks like maybe a bear mistook it for a deer or possibly an innocent tourist for a few moments, but it seems more banged up than broken.

The tuna inside lays innocently unscathed.]

[Wishing for things seemed unnatural to him, so he tried to avoid it. Too bad he was hungry now and then. He's confused as he finds the kitchen a mess... OH DEAR GOD WHAT IS THAT?]

[The dragon seems to be tiring, and after a few more snaps and claws, he growls, getting off the fridge.

And then he notices Ukitake.

[After the initial shock, he seems a bit less concerned. He... kinda wanted some of that food, though...]

Er... hungry, were you?

[After meeting with Vanyel's horse, he thought it was safer to assume that the...more varied... creatures of the castle could understand him as well. Best not to insult a dragon, after all.]

[He gives a light snort and looks back at the fridge in frustration, kicking at it with a hind leg.

Bad food dispenser.]

[He flinches slightly as the fridge is further displaced and damaged. He wasn't sure if the beast could understand him or not, but it was best to be polite....and careful...but polite.]

Now, now...you don't want to break it completely.

[He cautiously approaches the fridge, keeping one eye on Toothless, and seriously reconsidering his 'no wishing' policy.]

...Well, I don't know about you, but I'm hungry. Hopefully there's something left.

[He begs to differ! The stupid thing won't give him his fish, after all.

Which is the only thing left in there, by the way. A nice, big tuna fish, completely unscathed. Toothless grumbles, looking sulkily at the fridge.]
