❀ Episode 03 ❀ [Dictated / Action]

[Rise wakes up in what feels like familiar surroundings, but doesn't look quite right. It's like she's on a huge fluffy cushion or something. This isn't still that Wonderland place, is it?! She doesn't feel like that... fairy groundskeeper or whatever she was supposed to be there anymore.

She rolls over to get up, but feels something weird, but oddly familiar. She's quickly distracted from that when she looks down from the cushion, though. It looks like the pattern on her bed's sheets, but much bigger!

... Uh-oh. Her wings give a little flutter as she starts to consider what that means.

Wait, wings?! Oh, crap!]

Okay, very funny! You can turn me back now!

[Her voice carries over the open journal, and goes almost-silent again for a moment while she uses all the practice she got with those wings in Wonderland to fly around and explore the room. It's definitely hers, and it's huge! She can't be bigger than her cell phone back home now! Actually, it's probably bigger than her.]

... And the door is closed?! Seriously?!

[Okay, she might be starting to panic a little bit here, but she tries to stay calm. She's been in worse situations before back home, all she has to do here is contact someone who can help.]

Hello? Can anyone hear me? This is Rise.

I'm kinda... stuck in my room right now. It's not urgent or anything, but could someone please come soon?

[People met in Wonderland]

Was I the only one acting weird in that mirror place?! And is everyone else back to normal?

[That other fairy girl]

Nora-san, was it?

Did you change back to normal today? ... Or were you always a fairy? I'm sorry, I'm still getting used to this magic castle thing.

[A slightly awkward pause.]

Anyway, can we talk?

Really?

[She only looks a little older than Rise herself, and if Naoto-kun can be a junior detective...]

Are you like a junior policewoman back home or something?

[She also realizes that flying around at her size might force Kara to slow down for her, she carefully lands on her offered hand.]

Wh-whoa!

[And no sooner is she on her feet than she slips and falls. Oh, great. Is she so used to flying now that she'll need practice standing?

Okay. She might be embarrassed, just a little. But she can't help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation.]

{ooc: Nope, the Japanese idol doesn't have a clue about American superheroes. ^_~}

[Kara giggles, good-naturedly, and holds her hand steady so that Rise can right herself.]

Whoops, I must have moved suddenly, sorry.

And no, not a policewoman. I'm a superhero.

[Maybe she did move suddenly... it wouldn't take much. Either way, it was nice of her to say.

For stability's sake, Rise sits on Kara's palm, hugging her knees to herself. Try and make her fall now, gravity.]

[Visions of tokusatsu TV shows dance through her head briefly before she puts two and two together.]

Oh, so that's why you're wearing that outfit!

[She suddenly giggles at the thought that Kara came dressed for rescuing.]

You really showed that door, huh?

[kryptonian]

Uh huh. That's how it works.

[She smiles.]

At least the castle can fix that, huh?

[therealrisette]

Not that I'm worried about that anytime soon.

[A few minutes ago, that would have been a slightly bitter commentary on her current condition. But she's able to stay cheerful now. Maybe because she feels safer with a giant Kara than locked alone in her giant room.]

[kryptonian]

I'd be more worried about finding a bikini that fits you.

[Teasing...]

[therealrisette]

The castle doesn't carry extra tiny sizes? Just my luck!

[She punctuates with an overly dramatic sigh for effect. She can have fun with this too!]

[kryptonian]

We could check the local dollhouses.

[therealrisette]

[How is she making this situation funny?! Rise just can't help playing along.]

Okay, but only the doll boutiques! Cheap fabrics and velcro irritate my skin.

[kryptonian]

Oh, definitely. I wouldn't dream of putting any friends in cheap clothes. Especially not famous friends.

[therealrisette]

So does this make you my chauffeur, then?

[Rise flips her hair - well, one of her twintails at least - putting on her best haughty-celebrity act. Still sitting in Kara's palm.]

Where to next, Kara dear?

[She barely gets out the sentence before the act breaks, and she smiles.]

[kryptonian]

I suppose so!

[Grin.]

Are you hungry, or do you want to explore, or what?

[therealrisette]

[Wow, this whole situation made Rise forget all about food. Now that Kara mentions it, though...]

Actually, I am kinda hungry.

[She blushes, and the fairy glow faintly returns along with it.]

I wasn't exactly thinking of what to have for breakfast when I woke up like this...

[kryptonian]

Yeah? What are you in the mood for?

[therealrisette]

[She ponders that for a bit.]

Something Western, I guess. Egg and toast and sliced vegetables.

[Yes, that's her idea of a Western breakfast.

And she wonders about what she can eat at her size.]

But I probably won't eat much!

[Still blushing a bit. Stupid fairy light!]

[kryptonian]

No problem. I can make a western-style omelette and use my microscopic vision to cut it down to fairy-sized proportions. I think, anyway.

[therealrisette]

Microscopic vision?

[She just blurts that out as she's thinking it. Kara really is a superheroine, isn't she? That's really cool!]

Okay, sure! Thanks!

[Then, she looks down uncertainly at Kara's palm.]

... Should I be hanging on or something?

[kryptonian]

Maybe. I would put you in my pocket or something, but I don't exactly have pockets on this thing.

[therealrisette]

[Yeah, as weird as it sounds even in her head, pockets would have been a safe bet. Rise has a few tricks for storing things in uncooperative outfits, but not exactly the kinds of places that would be comfortable for either of them.]

It's okay, I'll just, um...

[She ponders the dilemma a bit before settling on lying on her stomach, with her arms wrapped around one of Kara's fingers.]

... This looks stupid, doesn't it?

[But she probably won't slip off and Kara won't risk crushing her tiny body in her grip!]

[kryptonian]

Just a little.

[She is nothing if not honest.]

But we'll figure something out. Maybe I can grab a pouch to attach to my belt from my room, or something.

[therealrisette]

[Well, at least she's being nice about it, even if Rise would have preferred a lie. Now she can't help but blush a little, again. Or is that "still"?]

Y-yeah, okay...

[She hugs herself tighter to Kara's hand, hoping the other girl doesn't notice how clearly embarrassed she is.]

L-let's just go for now?

[Her wings give an involuntary flutter of anticipation.]

{ooc: Or maybe they've already started moving and Rise just didn't notice? xD}

[Oh, they're definitely moving. Kara smiles.]

We'll be there in no time. And no need to worry -- I'll never let you fall.

[therealrisette]

Yeah...

[She kind of relaxes a little bit at that, but still maintains her death grip on Kara's finger.

Wait... "We'll be there in no time"? How long have they been moving?!

Now that she's paying attention, she does catch glimpses of the scenery around them, and how big the castle is now. But that just makes her feel tiny and helpless, which is not helping. So instead, she focuses on Kara. Cheesy as it might sound if she said it, she feels safe with her. And it reminds her of her friends back home, and how they'd always protect her, when she was really the only one of them that couldn't fight...

Curiosity sometimes strikes at the strangest times.]

Hey, what other things can you do? Other than rescue fairies from their rooms and microscopic vision...
