Normally I'd start asking questions about Earth and what sick minds think up places like that, but you know what? Nah. This time I'm gonna spare you guys. Because sometimes ignorance is bliss!

So! How about instead we all agree never to talk about those three days again, hm? I won't even point out which ones of you aged terribly! Consider it a free pass from your benevolent and great Zelos Wilder!

Well it feels like I'm seeing sun for the first time in months!

[wolfchild]

It's not a real sun. It's not been cloudy either.

[wilder]

I know it's not a real sun. But you have to go out into winter to see the sun right now.

[wolfchild]

It's only a little cold! You wouldn't have lasted autumn in Westeros.

[wilder]

[It's not the cold that bothers me. Were it simply cold, he would be fine. Sheena and Raine hated the cold of the ice temple, while he didn't mind it at all]

[ Arya rolls her eyes. She starts working the sand into towers. ]

[He meanwhile makes himself comfortable in the sand, lying down. Fake sun or not, feeling it on his skin is like making the cold winter remnants slowly melt away. And with it, he's finding himself starting to feel drowsy ]

[ Enjoy the nap, bro. She's still got her nightmare-repelling bracelet (and the feather but that's something else) on her.

She doesn't notice when he falls asleep. She's busy working on burying her legs. When she's done, she turns to Zelos. ]

Zelos, look! Zelos?

[wilder]

[Yep sorry totally asleep darling. He hasn't slept in two months HE HAD NO CHANCE]

[wolfchild]

Zelos?

[ Well. This sucks. 8| SHE DIDN'T BRING YOU HERE TO SLEEP. but there's no emergency nor is he snoring so she has no excuse to wake him up.

This is boring.

She dumps a bunch of sand on his legs. When he doesn't wake, she continues dumping and sculpting it until he has a mermaid's tail. She remembers House Manderly had a green-haired merman for their sigil. Zelos' hair is too red to be that merman, though.

Arya wanders back into the surf to clean the sand off her. She steps on a bundle of seaweed. She lifts it out the water and catches sight of Zelos out of the corner of her eye.

It's his fault for talking about her hair. And falling asleep.

She pokes him on the shoulder once. Grinning when he doesn't wake, she works the strands of seaweed into his hair in a bunch of lovely braids. One she coils over his head like a headband.

It's not all green, but at least it's not all red now.

She sits back on her heels to build a sand King's Landing to destroy—and wait for him to wake up. ]

[He managed to sleep through all that, fully enjoying the first peaceful sleep he's had in a long time. It'll be a good twenty minutes later when he starts to awaken, feeling pretty content with that nap-]

[wilder]

[- Wait. Why does his legs feel so heavy with sand. He tries to move them and opens his eeys to see yep, they are cemented in sand. ]

[wilder]

[And then he notices the slimey feeling in his hair]

[wilder]

[Slowly turning to look at the braids]

[wilder]

[wilder]

[ SCREAMS ]

[wolfchild]

[ Arya had grown very still when she felt him waking. She had bitten her lip on her laughter through his slow realization.

With the scream, she cannot hold back.

She falls back on the sand in a fit of breathless laughter. ]

[wilder]

[He meanwhile is FREAKING and trying to undo the braids and get the seaweed out of his hair AS FAST AS POSSIBLE- which causes the one on his head to slip down over his eyes and down his face only to make him yelp again]


ARYAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

[wolfchild]

[ Sorry. The number you called cannot breathe right now. No really. She is laughing too hard to breathe. Please try again later. ]

[wilder]

[And soon it turns to whining]

Why me...!

[wolfchild]

I thought you might [ snickers ] want to be [ splutters ] a merman [ more snickering ] instead.

[ She again dissolves into helpless giggles. ]

You scream louder than my sister!

[wilder]

You thought I-

YOU PUT SEAWEED IN MY HAAAAIR!!
