ino[hey, check it out! if you were hanging out in the lobby today, there'll be a little blonde girl sitting on the couch, swinging her legs back and forth impatiently. she's already wearing her costume, even though it's early afternoon: a hooded cloak covering up a simple vest and pants, and a strange mask is resting on the top of her head, as though she hasn't put it on properly yet. she's opening the journal to make a PSA to all the other kids who, undoubtedly, need to know this information]
Hey, the people in town are being real stingy, today! Just because it isn't nighttime yet doesn't mean you should deprive kids of candy!

He's been aged back to the human equivalent of fifteen, which is around seventy years old for a Time Lord. He doesn't remember his chosen name of Master, but only his childhood nickname, Koschei. He gets out of bed, beaming. Today is the Human celebration of Halloween, which means candy! He begins pulling on his costume, that of a medieval prince.

[Carol's not exactly the biggest fan of the holiday. Things that go bump in the night don't exactly entertain her but today she's trying to stay optimistic as she writes this in the journal for everyone to see.]
Come on down to Candy Bonsai today for some Halloween themed treats! Children and adults alike dressed up in a costume will get free some free candy. You can play bobbing for apples or carve yourself a pumpkin.
Come and have fun!

If there are any [ NOT FILLIES... BE ALL-INCLUSIVE.... ] children who are going to be collecting candy today, I'll be giving some out at the library. I've got quite a selection of different candies. I was sure to account for the most common allergens, and I'm offering several more healthy alternatives as well.
So feel free to drop by, either for the candy or to help me give it out, if you're so inclined.
[ And, as promised, anypony who wanders into the library will find, after the rather sizable display of age-appropriate children's and young adult books stations at every entrance, there's a large display of candies, and a certain unicorn who's.... done a rather nice job of looking like a rugged unicorn archeologist instead, complete with fake wings and her horn hidden under the hat.
She will calmly and levelly hand out one candy (or healthy alternative) to each child - though she does have one rather insidious plot in mind as well. She'll offer two pieces of candy to any child who offers to check out one of the books on display and promises to read it. :3c ]

What sort of things make a costume not a nurse costume, but a doctor costume? I don't want to be a nurse, I want to be a doctor but I think they all look the same. [She's using the journal, and she'll probably wander outside of the room at some point. Tony might be watching out for her, but she's EIGHT, she can make her own breakfast. Or something.]

Wow I can't believe it's Halloween already. You know, I don't think I've ever gone trick-or-treating before but this seems like one of the better holidays.

Oct. 31st, 2012 11:18 pmfluthlu[While the castle is full of kidlets and candy, Rose has taken her celebrations (namely a velvet cushion, a thick volume of rather grotesque looking horror stories, and a glass of something you probably want to hope is non-alcoholic) up to the rooftop. And of course, what would Halloween celebrations be without a costume. For the occasion, Rose has donned a slip dress and a fake beard.]
I do hate to jinx things with only thirty-four minutes left in the holiday, but I must say I'm a bit flabbergasted that Halloween's passed with no nauseatingly gruesome incidents. It seems the type of holiday this castle would enjoy going to town with on a yearly basis.
