[ GLaDOS is still not very used to eating. Thankfully, her human body is helping with most of the natural processes, but actually taking a bite out of something edible and chewing it was extremely odd.

So, have the former AI leaning against the counter for support as she takes a bite out of an apple that was in the fridge. Her yellow eyes are constantly scanning the room, and as much as she hates to admit it, being out of her room makes her a bit nervous. She's been so used to just staying in the same place for her entire life, that being a defenseless human able to wander around frightened her more than pleased her. The only upside was that becoming allies with humans would probably be easier if she looked like one, too. ]

[Welcome to what has become Ammy's regular place to hang out, sleep, eat, basically, live, whenever she's not outside frolicking.

But she hasn't seen you before! Time to say hi. And so she stands on her hinder legs, her front paws on the other side of the counter, her wagging tail showing she comes in peace.]

[ Well, that was a surprise. GLaDOS raises an eyebrow at the animal as she finishes her piece of apple and swallows it. ]

And who are you? [ she asks carefully, not charmed by its cute display, but more curious. She had never known about animals with those kinds of markings before. ]

Arf... [Yep, that's her answer. She could probably show her journal, it's tiring to communicate all the time with that thing.]

[ Well, then. That cemented the thought that it was a dog. She wonders if adopting it and training it to guard her room was a good idea. ] Do you have a name?

[ She knew humans enjoyed sticking names on creatures like these, and carefully reached towards the dog's neck to see if it had a collar hidden under its fur. ]

[No collar, but smells that approaching hand with her wet nose. Sniffle, sniffle...]

I guess you don't.

[ Excuse GLaDOS while she tries to pull her hand back. Humans were disgusting enough, but this thing's nose had poked her and it was wet! ]

Do you belong to anyone?

[Ahaha, if she wants to keep her she'll have to deal with the fluids. Tilts her head... Technically she doesn't. Shakes her head a little, which means, she does understand you.]

[and here's a large pony casually trotting in. GlaDOS gets a perfunctory nod of greeting before she heads to the fridge and levitates out a head of lettuce, a tomato, a cucumber, and carrots.]

[ The pony wasn't the thing that had her eyes widening. It was the way food suddenly levitated in front of her, held up in the air by some force. The woman immediately thought of the Portal Gun's ability to pick up things and stared at the pony, wondering if she had such a device on her. ]

[and she easily ignores the human. The veggies fly over to the sink and start rinsing themselves as she checks the cupboards and drawers for a cutting board, a bowl, and knives. Soon enough, the vegetables submit themselves for peeling and/or cutting and start arranging themselves into what is clearly a salad.

She starts cleaning up, and then glances at the human. Yup, still staring. Hmm.]

Dost thou wish to have some?

[ GLaDOS shakes her head at the question, concluding that it was impossible that she had any sort of portal device on her. ]

How did you levitate and manipulate those objects?

[ Was this some miracle of Science? ]

[oh. Right. That.]

'Tis simply magic. Levitation is one of the basic spells every unicorn learns.

Magic. [ she says in disdain. ]

I know there's a scientific explanation behind it.

[Italy loves food. So being in the kitchen would be his first priority. But when he spots a beautiful woman in there, it just might get better. He has never seen such beauty of silver white hair and golden eyes. The man is surprised on such an attire that looked like she was made from metal or steel, but maybe it is some fashion statement. He smiles in gratitude and waves to her.]

Ciao, hello, bella. How are you? You looka so lovely! I have never met someone so pretty like yourself! Were you born with beautiful bianco hair? What about your eyes? They are so pure golden! It'sa beautiful and rich!

[ Well, then. GLaDOS had already been eyeing the man curiously as he entered. His facial features just looked relaxed in the weirdest way, as though he was permanently happy or goofy, which was already odd enough... but then he waved to her and began to compliment her! ] ... What?

[ Funny how things worked out. Now that she hated her body, humans started complimenting it. Have a bewildered GLaDOS. ]

[He notices the surprised look and takes it as if GlaDOS was just a shy person or someone who never believed she was so beautiful!] You are beautiful, no? [Did some humans touched you yet? If not, have the Italian take GLaDOS's hand without a warning.] Beautiful white, white as daisies that grow in Italy.

By the way, I am Italy! It'sa so nice to meet such a lovely young lady like yourself! What'sa your name? Or can I call you, Bianca? Cause you are so lovely in white that I want to call you what white means in Italy! Bianco! But for girls, it isa Bianca!

[ Okay, taking her hand was a little too close for comfort. GLaDOS pulls her hand away, her lips twitching downwards a little. Even though she was technically human now, she still didn't enjoy humans getting near or touching her with their grubby hands. ]

... It's a pleasure, Italy. [ She couldn't keep the slight disgust out of her voice. Also, who was he to try and rename her? ] And I am GLaDOS, not... Bianca.

[ Maybe getting humans on her side was a good idea, but she wasn't sure she could stand it if it meant having to deal with these kinds of people. ]

G-G-GLaDOS? [Italy chuckles a little. A chill ran up his spine. Why was that?] That'sa interesting name. Ha ha! N-Not like in a bad way, but a good way!

[He waves his hands back and forth from side to side in reassurance.] Way more special than Bianca! Bianca is justa silly nickname, no?

[ Well, that was better. She really enjoyed his fear, and she had to fight against scaring him even more by reminding herself that he could also be a valuable asset in some way, or even just a good future test subject. ]

Yes, it is. I'd prefer to be called by my name. And... Italy. That's a country, isn't it? [ She didn't have her infinite repertoire of knowledge anymore, but she could still remember some things, thankfully. ]

[Give it a few minutes, and there will be an attorney in his pajamas stumbling into the kitchen, looking for some breakfast. Despite the time, he's just woken up... so he's not looking his best at all at the moment, in his worn old t-shirt and cotton pants.

He won't notice GLaDOS at first, so intent is he on the eggs he's going for in the refrigerator.]

[ GLaDOS watches the sloppily-dressed man enter the kitchen as she takes another bite of her apple... and kind of wonders how Phoenix's hair stuck up like that.

She won't initiate conversation, but she looks like she's asking for one, the way she watches him carefully, making sure he's not going to try anything. ]

[He's partway from the refrigerator to the stove with the carton of eggs when he notices her.]

Oh--hey.

[A yawn, and then he mumbles--sorry, GLaDOS, he's not quite awake yet.]

Never seen you here 'fore.

[ She finishes her piece of apple. ] Hello.

[ She couldn't really catch the rest of what he had said, however. And GLaDOS liked to know things. ] I didn't quite catch what you said there.

Huh?

[He clears his throat and tries to wake up a little more.]

I said... I've never seen you before. Are you new?

[As he's repeating himself, he's digging for a skillet to make his eggs in.]

Yes, I'm new here. I'm guessing you've been trapped here for awhile if you knew that. [ The human also seemed quite at home in the kitchen, which helped her observation. She wondered if she would ever get used to this place. ]
