[It's a beautiful morning, shaping up to be a hot and humid day, as so many summer days at the Blind Buffalo Resort are. The piles and piles of people arriving in their cars to check in at the modest front office make it a noisy morning too, full of chatter and greetings from those who have long been apart. There isn't enough room in the office for everyone, so there's spillover of the crowd to outside, and a noise crowd jammed inside the room.

That's true. I guess a lot of people would think we were rushing things even getting engaged. I mean, we're not even 18 yet. But I just know I want to be with Natsu.

[ Aa what even blushy. ]

OKAY, I'm going to jump in! [ Watch out Rin, because Lucy takes a deep breath and charges forward. ]

YEeeeee---~~! [ She's at least not so close that she'll splash like crazy, but it probably still looks and sounds weird. ]

[It isn't THAT cold. But it's a shock compared to the heat the day is already gathering.

Rin reels back, covering her head up with her heads totally unnecessarily as Lucy is far enough away not to deluge her.]

Yeeeek! [Laughing, shrieking] Oh my God! [How's the water, Lucy?]

[ Cold cold cold cold! Lucy squeals and dances about unsteadily in the water trying to get used to the difference in temperature. By the time she gets to waist deep, she pauses to dunk herself entirely, surfacing seconds later with a laughing gasp. ]

Sorry about that~! [ Coollld. But so refreshing! ]

[SCREAM giggle Rin lunges further into the water herself, sweeping her hands over the surface so she sends splashes towards Lucy.]

Ahhh! See what I mean? [But she keeps getting in deeper too.] But it's not bad!

[ Lucy Yelps at the splashes sent towards her, laughing to counter splash the other girl. ]

Not at all! It's definitely worth a bit of cold water in this heat. I'm surprised, we're pretty much the first ones out here.

Hah, they're the slowest - eek! [At being splashed.] We better stake out the whole lake in case they try and take it over!

That's a great idea! [ She just laughs at the thought. ] Maybe we should make flags to proclaim our territory here.
