family reunion day 1;
[It's a beautiful morning, shaping up to be a hot and humid day, as so many summer days at the Blind Buffalo Resort are. There isn't enough room in the office for everyone, so there's spillover of the crowd to outside, and a noise crowd jammed inside the room.

Sorry...
[A little pause.]
It.. is good to see you though. [He means that one.]

Anyway... How are you?

You should be. What's your major? Do you have a roommate? As your Uncle I need to know these things.
And I am doing well. I am a principle yet again for the season.
[Aka, lead dancer.]

Huh, good? Which play? [He might not really care but... hey. Small talk...]
no subject
The first one for the season is The Firebird - or at least, our playwright's version of it. I'm playing the Firebird.

Dunno, build some stuff. [A little ambiguous... A little shrug.] What's the story about? [He might be getting interested... It's a cool name, Firebird and all. He shouldn't get his hopes up though, it surely has nothing to do with spaceships or awesome racing cars...]
