The piles and piles of people arriving in their cars to check in at the modest front office make it a noisy morning too, full of chatter and greetings from those who have long been apart. There isn't enough room in the office for everyone, so there's spillover of the crowd to outside, and a noise crowd jammed inside the room.

[He laughs nervously and suddenly jabs nick in the side with his elbow. The message was simple: STOP ARE YOU TRYING TO GET ME KILLED.

[He just ignores Nick's comment, since obviously he would have been the better choice. She is clearly misguided.]

[He is so determined to be cheerful about this, despite the tangible tension in the room now.]

[He claps his hands.]
