[He smiled, not because he was amused, but simply because that's who he was. His slower tone showed that he was wary.]

She's supposed to live forever too.
And I think-- I think she might make me do that too. Live forever. After we um, get out of here.

I'm not a robot, Wheatley, you can't just reprogram me. My mind is energy, unbound from a true physical form.

[Although, he'd thought about that in the past. What better way to be rid of, well, himself than to wipe away his own memory?]

I know! You told me that. Didn't forget.

[He frowned a bit to form a neutral expression.
He sort of wanted to tell Hank that GLaDOS had experienced the same fate he had... and even if she couldn't fix it, per se... she was smart with things like these. But he had a feeling that he probably was talking too much.]

Just talk to her.
Or-or even better, let me talk to her... wh-when this castle decides it wants to send us back and everything is alright.

[He legitimately considers Hank a friend, of sorts. Just being partially mechanical almost made him easier to talk to, even if he was serious and weird and really grouchy and didn't laugh at his jokes...]

In...in the meantime, I really want to see what's out there.
And maybe see you fly a bit. If-if you don't mind that last part. You could keep it to yourself, too. Not pushing it or anything.

[Wheatley is a catalyst for bad things. If it wasn't Hank, it'd probably be something worse.

Adjusting his glasses, he blinks, turning to look at the wall.
Oh right. He has x-ray vision. Don't mind Wheatley as he's awkwardly just sitting there, flipping through the history books to see if there's anything.]

A-are you sure? Nothing else?

[He eventually stops and turns to him.]

Nothing. Paradisa may not want us to know what's out there...

Gnnngh... that's really unnerving.
Almost makes me want to know what's out there more.

[He laughs a little... it's not a very funny idea, but he's still slightly amused. Slightly. It sounded a bit nervous.]

I imagine their security is always on top of things, night or day. Still, night would be best.
