#002 - Cosmic Adventures
[Kara Zor-El is in Insolitus.
She's not quite lost -- no, she's not about to admit that yet -- but she's starting to think maybe she's become too reliant on her abilities. Here, in a maze that doesn't let her see through walls, it's a little tricky to stay "unlost", so to speak. But wasn't that adventure with Kal all those months ago supposed to teach her to not be too reliant on her abilities?
But hey, she's not lost yet.
She's just a little bit turned around in a maze of tunnels and ladders and all those things.
Hmm, what to do? She's sitting mid-way up a ladder with her journal to collect her thoughts.]
You know, what kind of castle keeps a giant evil jungle gym in its underbelly?

Dictated
[It doesn't take him long to get from the third floor to the sixth. He slowly peeks his head in through the door and glances curiously at the three tunnels.]
This doesn't look ominous at all. Well here goes nothing.
[He closes the journal and crouches down low to get into the middle tunnel.]

He crawls along through the tunnel until he finds himself face to face with a rather large number of options he could take. He's not even going to bother trying to figure out just how many ways he could go through this place. He's gonna shout out.]
Do I at least get a hint!?
no subject
Normally I remember I lot better.

[He hangs a left like she had suggested and continues on. He can't help but grin at how cool this room is at the same time it looks like it would be a crappy place to end up losing power.
He manages to get about half way through the directions she had given him, to the tunnel after the silver pillars when he stops for a moment. He stomps his foot against the ground a few times to make a few loud thuds.]
If you can hear that let me know. Just checking to make sure I'm going the right way.

[No idea about the whole super hearing thing yet.
So heads up the ladder toward the platform she had mentioned to take and as he gets to the top he starts to look around to see if she's there.]
no subject
[She knows she forgot to mention something.]
I'm sitting on a ladder, if that helps. It's super dark in here.

[He glances around the platform and see's a ramp up toward another ladder. Maybe that's the one she's on? He couldn't tell from where he was, so with a quick dash he made his way up the ramp and started up the latter. Keeping a closer eye out for her now.]

Hey! Right here.
no subject
Still pretty fun though.
[It doesn't take too long for him to join up with her now that he can see her.]
no subject
And hey, while you were getting here, my aunt told me that there's an old resident's room somewhere deep in here. Wanna find it?
no subject
Sounds like fun, makes things a bit more interesting than getting lost for the sake of getting lost.
[He offers a hand to help her get up.]
Shall we?
no subject
Let's go.
no subject
I hope you brought something to eat with you. If this place is half the maze it looks we could stuck in here for awhile, whether we find the room or not.

[And she will be, with her biology. It's mostly the lack of sunlight that will get to her if they remain lost.]
no subject
[He's in a similar boat, a faulty solar core can't even do a poor job at recharging without at least a little sunlight.]
I feel sorry for who ever had to travel through this to get back to their room every night.

I can't say I've been too different.

I do remember wandering off into the middle of nowhere though.

Maybe something similar happened to this person?

I think I'm comparing this person to myself too much.
