As far as I can tell, there's just the two ships - the Lewis and Clark and the Event Horizon. According to the messages in here, this vessel was sent out to rescue the Event Horizon. That's you guys in the big ship over there. It also says here that the Event Horizon is a scientific vessel and has something called a gravity core, which generates a black hole in order to makes jumps through space.
I'm not going to pretend I'm a scientist, so I don't know how it works or if it's even possible, but something like that can't be safe. And if that ship went through enough trauma to need a rescue, then who knows what shape it's in.
My point is, whatever the gravity core is, my advice is to steer clear.
