THE CHASE

[Maybe you decide to stand your ground, maybe your a straggler, but Mama is closing in, are you going to be a hero? Or are you going to break for safety?]

[Oh. So that's a T-Rex. The more you know.]

[Zelos is definitely running for it. He's seen monsters bigger than t-rexes, dragons that would make things look like babies. However? That was when he had powers, and wasn't surrounded by innocent people. And so he chooses wisely not to confront the beast. Though he'll probably be closer to the back, keeping an eye out for stranglers]

[Yes, this is a T-Rex. This is an important lesson for you, Zelos. She's closing in on the back ranks now, picking up speed trying to find someone to pick off, someone slow]

[Yeah, no. Danny was NOT fighting that thing unless, until he got his ghost powers back. He was totally going to turn it into a dinosicle.

In the meantime he screams and frantically looks around for any kids nearby.]

Everybody! Run!

[The Rex turns to look at him. Hey she remembers you! YOU'RE THE BABY STEALER. She roars, picking up the pace as she charges at him.

You just had to stay in trailer two, didn't you, Danny?]

[Lloyd falls behind, but on purpose-- he's trying to push people forward, give them a boost if he can.]

RUN!

[Mama's getting closer, Lloyd. Are you sure this is the day you want to be a hero?]

Urrrghh! Just when I was eating some nikudon then this thing comes knocking!

[Chie runs for it, even faster than she normally could. The mix of fear and annoyance that her dinner was disturbed gives her the adrenaline boost. Hopefully she gets to someplace safe or else she'll be the T-Rex's nikudon tonight!]

[Mama doesn't much care about that, her heavy footfalls shaking the ground as she charges into the ranks, snapping her teeth, trying to grab anyone unlucky enough to be in her grasp]

[Oh not again. Does she have a hankering for witch, now? Phoebe leaps over fallen logs and splashes right through the water as she races away from the T-Rex for the second time in 24 hours. Even as she runs, though, she looks around for anyone she knows and, more importantly, anyone who might need help.]

[In a critical and absolute failure to follow all his training, York does the one thing you should never, ever do when you see a motherfuckin' T-Rex.

He freezes.

Awful memories of getting chomped on by one of these before? YEP.]

Oh, this can't be happening...

[ He's walking backwards a few steps before twisting around and bolting for it. There's a time to try and take on a giant scaly monster, and that time is not when you're without any of your powers. ]

[She makes a run for it after Church tells her to go. Holding her baby sister in her arms, a hand cups the back of her head. First and foremost, she needs to keep Sunny safe. Secondly she needs to tell someone to go back and help Church fight off the raptors.

The sounds behind her are more frightening than Violet would care to admit (more frightening than a former unibrowed guardian). It causes her to run faster, needing to break to safety than stop and fight. All she has is a tree limb anyway.]

[ It was a boon that Joshua had managed to lose her late in the night before getting completely eaten, the height of a tree giving him the safety of a short sleep. Unfortunately he had covered a lot more distance than realized, so from morning until now it had been a slow trek in following after her. And he was going after her, wherever that took him.

It's a much quicker process once he feels his real strength return, able to shoot above the treeline and take off. And...it's utter chaos, but then he wasn't expecting anything less. Finally spotting her near a river, Joshua whistles from the air. Oh Boo~ ♥ ]

[He was running almost immediately and isn't about to stop now. He sees the cave in the distance, but the riverbed is still a lot of open ground to cover and he isn't sure his brother will make it.]

If there is any time in your life that you can run, run now.

[Still he's veering a bit towards the trees. It will slow them down, but they're already slow, and at least they'll get cover. Theoretically]

[Just perfect. Church is looking around at the chaos for Tex or really anyone he grudgingly cares about. At least until Mama gets uncomfortably close, then he's got no choice but to take off.]

THE CAVE

[It's damp and miserable in here, but it is safe from the Rex. Don't go too close to the edge, though, she can easily snap you up from there]

[Harding is here. She's cut and bruised after the trailer incident, but she's otherwise unharmed. She's currently trying to catch her breath, leaning against the cave wall]

[Lloyd is covered in sweat and water. He's too tired to glare properly so he just kinda flops on the floor.]

Being out of breath and sweating is a new experience... and he doesn't really like it]

[Luke's managed to make it to the cave, but after the ordeal in the trailer, he isn't looking so good anymore. The adrenaline that was keeping him is starting to wear off and that injury to the back of his head is still bleeding.

He's found a quiet spot near the back of the cave, far away from mama T-Rex. He'll be trying to doze off as soon as he settles down.]

[It was damp and miserable in here, but at least the T-Rex couldn't get in. It doesn't take Danny long to settle into a troubled nap against the wall of the cave.]

[This is Jason Bourne.

This is Jason Bourne with a large rifle, leaning against the wall of the cave, near, but not too close, to the entrance.

He's got the rifle trained towards the entrance.]

[Zelos was leaning against the cave wall after Sarah got nommed on, catching his breath. The rush of powers and the fact he just got chased by a giant lizard and some lady got eaten? Sure makes him feel a bit dizzy and cranky. Not to mention, these past few days have sucked]

Oh sure. Now powers come back.

[Oh well, on the bright side it's not like he has to worry about dying of sleep deprivation. That's something right?]

[Luckily Wade is small and quick and...well...she's had practice running from a T-rex before. Not exactly something she thought she would ever repeat, though.

She splashes through the falls, panting and leaning against the inside wall of the wave, raking the water from her hair]
