[Aw yes, it's time that awkward morning after of a mass castle loss]

Wow, that was sure...something.

Normally I'd start asking questions about Earth and what sick minds think up places like that, but you know what? Nah. This time I'm gonna spare you guys. Because sometimes ignorance is bliss!

So! How about instead we all agree never to talk about those three days again, hm? I won't even point out which ones of you aged terribly! Consider it a free pass from your benevolent and great Zelos Wilder!

[ She doesn't clarify which question she's answering. She runs to the bed and starts jumping on it. ]

Let's go! To the beach! To the beach!

[wilder]

Whoa-

[Man she is full of energy]

Hold on okay? I still need to get dressed.

[thankfully he's wearing sweatpants and a tank top- but still!!]

[wolfchild]

[ She stops jumping, dropping to sit on the bed with her legs under her. ]

Why? You're dressed. Besides you're going to have to take it all off.

[wilder]

I sleep in these clothes, I don't want to get sand and saltwater all over them.

[He'll move to get up from the bed to head to the closet]

In the meantime, use my brush to comb your hair.

[wolfchild]

[ oh hell no ]

No.

[wilder]

Yes.

[wolfchild]

No! Who cares about my hair it's just going to get tangled up again swimming.

[wilder]

I care!

It'll get even more tangled if it's already tangled going in.

[wolfchild]

It's not your problem. Hurry up. Get dressed.

[wilder]

At least ten seconds with the brush, come oooon!

[wolfchild]

No!

[wilder]

[a sigh]

I tried...

[But he'll be grabbing some clothes behind a closet and heading to behind a changing screen]

[wolfchild]

[ Better men than you have tried. And by better men I mean women who took her for a doll to clean and brush hair and put in super girly fancy clothes.

She doesn't like them very much.

Arya jumps lightly off the bed and rocks on her feet impatiently. ]

Are you finished?

[wilder]

[Yeah Zelos ain't dumb enough to treat her like a doll. It'd turn into Chucky or something. ]

[And a moment later he'll come out in a pretty basic t-shirt and and pants. He heads over to slip his shoes on]

Yeah yeah, just about.

[wolfchild]

[ Bite your tongue, she would never.

She runs over to the door to open it. Arya holds onto the doorknob, struggling not to bounce. ]

Do we need anything, you think?

[wilder]

[And he'll WALK towards the door, very sluggish because my goddess it's early]

Hmmm...maybe towels?

[wolfchild]

Okay.

[ And she gallivants into his bathroom to steal the towels there. ]

I've got them! Come on!

[ She grabs his hand and starts pulling. ]

[wilder]

Whoa-

[So much energy! And he's getting dragged along, forced to pick up speed as she pulls him along]

Hey at least shut my door behind us!

[wolfchild]

You are such a child.

[ Impatiently, she makes sure the door closes. And then she will roll him across the floor to the elevator if she has to.

Once at the door to the Seasons Room, she drops his hand in favor of racing inside. ]

[wilder]

No I'm nooooot!

[And he'll follow in after. He's been to the beach before here, but after months of winter it's still a sight to behold]

Whoa...

[wolfchild]

Where do I leave the towels? I'll leave them here.

[ She drops them on the sand without waiting for an answer and sets to the task of taking off her shoes and her dress. With her arms and legs bare, it's obvious how very skinny she is—she has put on a few pounds, but she is still several meals away from a healthy weight—as well as the numerous scars that don't fade. The largest ones are concentrated at her thighs.

Leaving Zelos to organize if he wants to, she jumps right into the surf. The surprising coldness of the water rips a shriek from her. ]

[wilder]

[He was about to answer, but oh too late they are in the sand and he gives a sigh. Oh well.]

[He spots some of those scars out of the corner of his eye and grimaces to himself. More trophies from her homeworld, no doubt. Dammit...]

[But yeah, today was not a day to remind Arya that stuff, so instead he'll make himself laugh and call after her]

What? Too cold for you, my little wolf?

[wolfchild]

No!

[ Arya sounds affronted he would even think it. She plops down in the water to prove it. A wave washes over her. ]

It went up my nose! [ SALTWATER BURNS. IT BURNS US. ]

[wilder]

[He laughs]

Well yeah it does that if you plop down like that!

[wolfchild]

It's not funny!

[ But she doesn't get up because water in places it shouldn't be aside, getting pushed and pulled by waves is fun. C: ]
