I have questions about weddings.

I need to know these things.

1. What do you wear at a wedding?

2. Do I have to get them a present?

3. Should I know anything else about weddings?

No one yet. But that stupid holiday is coming up and last year there were weddings. I want to be prepared if someone is dumb enough to get married again.

Well, it's usually safe to dress up, depending on the wedding, but dresses are usually required. Gifts are acceptable, but most people send money.

And be prepared to dance.

You will need formal wear and a gift that will be of use to the couple in their new lives as man and wife. I am certain they will forgive you for not getting them a gift however. Most of what they may need can be wished for here.

A dress would be appropriate. Will you need any help selecting one?

Probably. I mean, if there are going to be weddings I should be prepared, right?

I don't really like dresses, though. [She's only worn a skirt as part of her costume.]

And what would help out someone that gets married?

Really? [SHOCKING. why wouldn't someone like to wear dresses? D: ] I guess you could always ask the couple what you can wear...

And as for the gift, you get them something that they'll need when they move in together! [lol ASSUMING THEY HAVEN'T ALREADY] Matching clothes, or silverware, or cooking supplies...

How am I supposed to upstage the bride? Should I wear a bigger dress?

I don't know. I guess if you were older you'd just have to look better and have a lower-cut dress, but when you're a kid you probably just need to act cute or something.

Of my life? I'm eleven. I've never even had one dress.

1. Something fancy! Not too fancy, because you don't wanna upstage the bride in case she's like one of those crazy ladies on Say Yes To The Dress and tries to stab you in the eye with her high heels. But something really pretty. Find out if there's a colour pattern or a theme for the wedding, and go from there.

2. Well, if you like them, sure! Blenders are okay because everyone likes smoothies, but you can get more original than that.

3. Wow, tonnes, but most of it you can take as you go, I suppose.

Nudge. You are going to have to help me if I ever have to go to one of these things. You sound like an expert.

Nah, it's nothing, i just read a lot of magazines and watch a lot of Lifetime and TLC. You can learn a lot of stuff just doing that!

So, is there gonna be a wedding?

Why would they cry? Isn't it supposed to be a happy thing?

It's happy tears. Have you never watched a movie with a wedding in? People are always crying in those.
