Normally I'd start asking questions about Earth and what sick minds think up places like that, but you know what? Nah. This time I'm gonna spare you guys. Because sometimes ignorance is bliss!

So! How about instead we all agree never to talk about those three days again, hm? I won't even point out which ones of you aged terribly! Consider it a free pass from your benevolent and great Zelos Wilder!

Do you want to go to the beach here?

The beach?

Zelos

There's a room. On some days it's a beach and others it's all snow and frozen. I think tomorrow it's supposed to be a beach. I've never seen the ocean. I've seen big rivers and I crossed one, but it's not the same I think.

Hm. Sounds fun! Count me in!

And hey, maybe one day we'll get lucky and see a real ocean!

With our luck, we're like to almost drown.

[ Back to her normal volume: ] When do you want to go?

Arya

You know that actually happened once. The entire castle got flooded.

How about tomorrow!

It did?

[ She wishes she could say she's actually surprised. She really does. ]

Yep! Rained so much that it covered the entire castle.

Zelos

How long did it rain?

I think it was about a day. It was pretty fast rising water.

We all thought we were gonna drown, but then a boat showed up and took us to a world change.

Zelos

Where did you go?

Arya

[wilder]

Uh that place with the pokemon. Where I got Curry?

Zelos

[wolfchild]

And you came back on a ship too?

Arya

[wilder]

Nah. Something made us all fall asleep and then we woke up back at the castle.

Zelos

[wolfchild]

Oh. That's... [ weird. but everything here is weird. ] ...not interesting.

I know, right? There at least could've been explosions or something.

Zelos

Really big ones. With lots of color.

Arya

Exactly!

I wonder if we'll get fireworks again this year.

Zelos

There are fireworks? When? I want to see them, I want to!

[ She might be bouncing a little on her bed. ]

A couple of times during the summer. Maybe it'll be the same again this year!

But that's so loooong away!

[ Oh God. Oh sweet Jesus. She picked up the whining. ]

I knooooow, but it's too cold to watch a fireworks show right now.
